He's done a great job. Organised solid and tonight brilliant on the break, he is a real experienced tactician and gets the most out of his players. Well done Pullis.

Good point, he has always been a half decent premier league manager. I am surprised anyone would doubt his credentials.

Did a great job at Stoke too. Wasn't particularly pretty to watch but kept them up and away from danger most seasons. Have to admit I thought he'd still struggle to keep Palace up this season but he's done a fantastic job there.

He gets the best out of what he has to work with and takes no crap (fines his players for diving)

| Very proud to be voted Planet Swans Poster of the Year 2017 by my fellow posters. Especially on a site that nearly had 20 million impressions last year. | Poll: | What is your favourite Knock? |

Tony Pulis on 23:18 - Apr 16 with 5746 views | JACKARSE | Ever wondered what the table would look like if the season started when Tony Pulis took over at Crystal Palace? Palace would be eighth. Only Chelsea have conceded fewer goals since TP took over.
Tony Pulis on 23:48 - Apr 16 with 5695 views | Drizzy | I know his style isn't to everyone's taste but f*ck me is it effective. The guy can organise a defence as well as anyone in the Premier League. Wales should be proud of Pulis. No idea why so many Swans fans take such a dislike to him. [Post edited 17 Apr 2014 0:00]

Tony Pulis on 23:55 - Apr 16 with 5674 views | Liberty | He has done the opposite at Palace to what Monk has done for us. They looked fcuked, now safe. We looked safe, now possibly fcuked. What an experienced manager can do, fairplay.

Tony Pulis on 00:17 - Apr 17 with 5630 views | Fuggie | I will be the first to admit that I thought TP was an "old fashion coach" ie Long Ball/English Way. However since he has been at Crystal Palace I can only assume he plays the players to the best of their abilities. Otherwise Ian Holloway is a great promotion coach but should be immediately sacked upon promotion. These players seem rejuvenated with TP and we should learn (quickly) from his example.

I now stats say differently, but I still beleive Laudrup would have got us out of this.

Palace beat chelski and Everton, yet we drew with them, so perhaps it's not all as bad as it looks.

There are some pretty big differences though, aren't there. 1. The timing of his appointment and 2. Being able to bring the players he needed to during a transfer window. Thee guy has done a brilliant job, but the situation he inherited and the one Monk did are very different.

Yep Ledley and Dann were great signings making CP one of the meanest teams defensively, Ince was a mistake IMO We had a chance like anyone else to sign players and we got Emnes and Ngog FFS Who would you have brought in ? Monk or not we should have gone for a keeper, a RB, a CF and a winger who can cross IMO

A striker who can get in behind was an absolute must in January. A winger who could cross the ball without doubt. Both of which have been gaping holes for us in the past 3 windows, so there are no excuses. Wouldn't argue with a keeper and RB but in January I didn't see those as priority signings. January is a tough month and not a great time to sign players, but we have had 3 windows to plug those gaps now.
