Surely a top division striker somewhere across Europe was available. Must be a huge number of players that are on the bench that would agree to go to a London club chasing promotion if offered a big bonus for achieving promotion.
If we now finish 3rd-6th as I suspect we will this could end up costing Tony and the club 30-40mil.
I do agree we have to get on with it though, the squad we have compared to every other squad should, in theory, be good enough. |  |
