Im also not a great fan of 3 at the back but if you watch closely we play with that given our two full backs are always advanced Key has almost been an extra midfielder tucked inside.
Yes we shoukd have cover hopefully Bianchini will step up to the plate but my thiughts we alson how to get Cullen and Vip on the park together and hopefully increase our chance conversion.
As i said we often end up with 3 at the back Cabango and Darling with Grimes in the middle my thoughts allow Grimes to be slightly more advanced.

for me given Eoms injury I would try a 3-4-2-1

do you think even well run clubs will ave two international class players for every position?
we have Bianchini and Abdulai as cover with the possibility of Reach.....they fit but wont fill the slot as Eom.

thats great news.....a key player who we look like losing for a huge portion of the season.

Will the Koean FA nowpay his wages?
Out of interest how does it work when a player is seriously injured on International duty resulting in their unavailability at club level why should their club them pay them ?

The great Johnny Walker announced today he will be standing down from his Radio 2 ahows at the end of this month.

Enjoyed his Radio 1 show back in my teens when he played some great music he introduced us to the Eagles.

Met him just before covid struck a down to earth guy..did a great live sounds of the 70s night with a band all of which werent born then.
He had some great stories which he couldnt sahre on air ...the guy is dieing sadly.
He will be much missed but his Sunday shownid being taken over by anothet great "whispering" Bob Harris who has roots in Pontardawe.

I think Ronald looked and did better last seaso as Naughton was playing behind him.

Yesterday Key drifted further in field and so Ronald had more space

I think its only a matter of time before Vip clicks too and then we will do some serious damages to a few teams

Neither Yates or Kukharevych are tearing up trees at their loan clubs and Williams knows what they are capable of and possibly thinks they dont fit otherwise surely theybwould still be here?
Re rhe youngsters maybe at this stahe its too big a jump to the Championship to be leading the line.
We need a striker or a winger to hit the ground semi running with experience at this level.....

For several seasons there have been posts on here crying out for us to play with width now we are some are still critical.
If ee want to play with wingers we need at least 4 currently Luke has inky 3 recognised wingers availabke due to injuries .

I suspect when Parker is fit then the Abdullai experiment will end ,its a shame Ginelly is a crock too.

For me we seem to be improving every game the lukes if Eom,Franco and Vip too are settling in andmlooking fitter
Its frustrating because as much as we are unbeaten at home had the last 3 games been converted to wins we would be in a playoff position had we drawn or won onnWenesday we could he sitting second....not bad considering so many were again stating we were prime relegation candidates before a ball had even been kicked.

and he needs to be more vocal .....twice today he could have easily claimed the ball yet defenders intervened...... Darling on one occasion ....and the ball though cleared wasnt 100% safe....otherwise top siging Carl who?

agree with the last paragraph but its now the way of the world....managers and coaches need a qualification to manage...so they attend courses r
that give a formualic approach....which takes away some of the instinctive approaches they may have ....think Tosh when he arrived at the Vetch.
Its the same in the businees world sso many xomapnies want managers with MBA s .....these.folsk pass exams and then manage on the theoris they have bben taught.

We no longer have long spells of sideways and backwards passing in our own half,we send ling diagonal balls from the centre backs ...we attack with width...we attempt more long range shots.
