Thread | Are SR funding their other clubs through SFC PL cash?

The French kid teenager we've just 'signed' from another SR club is currently playing in the 3rd tier of French football so is a million miles away from starting for our first team.
I would love to know how many millions we have moved to the other club for him.
The PL dwarfs every other league in terms of money the clubs get and it seems like SR are making the best use of our PL money, while it lasts, to fund their other clubs.
I would wager this kid will never get on the pitch for our first team but they will be eagerly spending the money we've given them this January... [Post edited 10 Jan 9:57]

With the utterly clueless SR in charge we will never be more than a yo-yo club meaning that every time we go up we will have a season after with zero enjoyment for fans.
Is doing this better than being an established mid-table Championship team like Norwich, WBA, Coventry, etc who at least give their fans an occasional goal to watch and will win more than they lose at home.
We can think of the PL again when the big boys f'k off to join the ESL. |

What an absolute shambles Wilcox's strategy of paying millions for City's failed youngster was. If Chelsea weren't mad enough to chuck us cash for the always injured Lavia it would have put the club into admin. |

Thread | Have SR already accepted relegation?

Our signings seem to be of a level of a tier 2 club. CB from the Championship, another from L1, striker who has played mainly in the Champ, late 30s out of contract winger, journeyman full back, etc.
It seems that the acceptance is that we will be relegated but be in a better position to go up next season than we were last.
I assume this is all down to the £160m W@nkerson wasted getting us relegated and all the PL cash is going into paying the bills. [Post edited 12 Aug 2024 9:12]

Promotion: Drubbed week after week 99% chance of relegation
Stay in Championship: Squad decimated but still a chance of being a playoff chasing team. Very real chance of points deduction due to HUGE losses being accumulated since SR took over.
The only ones that promotion will really benefit are SR as getting back in the PL and then having 3 new years of parachute payments will pay for their mistakes. |

Can we bring in a loan keeper for the rest of the season?
We've only two fit senior keeper so if one was injured we couldn't put one on the bench. Does this mean we're allowed a loan? I don't think league rules would force us to use a kid from the academy? |
