The Israel/Palestine conflict has played a big part imo
Jess Phillips only just kept her seat due to an Independent running on that ticket, in Slough was similar and many other places. The Muslim vote has been against the main 2 parties for not calling for a ceasefire
Expect similar in America later this year
It hasn't had an impact in terms of seats won but like with Reform it's taken a lot of votes away from the traditional parties and like the boats issue it's something Labour are going to have to get on top of. |

The Community Shield is on the same day, 3pm kick off and live on ITV
I've no idea if thats got anything to do with it but it's bizarre that Sky are not putting them all on 3 and televising them the one weekend they are able to do that |

true but if they lost the rights and they went to TNT, ITV, Netflix or Amazon it wouldn't be any different, all of those companies would do the same if they could |

viewing figures don't overly matter for Sky, it's subscription numbers and I think this sky+ streaming channel is a test for them with the EFL and if it works they'll be doing it with the Premier League within a year |

Sky are not the problem, blame the EFL for allowing them to do this and the clubs for agreeing to it. |

Yeah that was the weird game when we played Belgium and both sides would have been quite happy to lose, The Belgium winner was a bit of a freak goal from memory as well
Spain were in our half of the draw but lost to Russia in the 2nd round which really opened it up |

yeah it's always the same, win your group and you should have one 50/50 game before the semi final where you don't tend to get easy games. France and Belgium messing their group up has made the draw lopsided this time. Even in 2018 we played Sweden who historically we are terrible against
England route is far from easy, the Swiss look a very good side to me as do Austria and the Dutch have some really good players. On paper of course we should win but we've all watched enough football to know thats not how it works |
