Yeah I remember coming out after the game to nearest pub where our mini bus was parked by now with about another 10 mini buses all stacked up in the car park and the police with riot helmets on surrounding them waiting for us and us just laughing at them, they looked very agitated I think somebody had pushed the panic button early doors.

Fairply to Swansea fans that day everyone was just chuffed that we were promoted out of the doldrums.

On the way home our mini bus was absolutely minging we had a good clean out at Cardiff gate services 👍🏾

A few thousand Swans fans

Not been any Swans away trips like that since.

In the grand scheme of things 10 yrs isn't very long but what a different world we all live in now.

Swansea in the premiership playing in Europe,
UK in the EU,
Cameron prime minister
Clarkson in top gear
Wales dreaming of the euros
Russia preparing to host the world cup
Afghanistan still occupied by the west
Ukraine living in peace
The Queen and her old man were alive
Nobody had heard of covid
Palestine & Israel were at peace (kind of)
The Internet wasn't the cesspit it is now
There were only 2 genders
All lives mattered
Kids weren't as stabbing as they are now
Trump was some bloke who owned a big building



The list is endless.... God help us all in 10yrs from now

I remember me & the missus sitting outside a restaurant in Krakow square about 15yrs ago and 3-4 down and out drunks hanging around the square causing a bit of nonsense when a big old blue Mercedes van pulled up and the drunks just disappeared in the van within seconds the van drove off as if nothing had happened and everything just carried. We are way too soft in this country
