Speaking as somebody who has saved, but is not super rich, I've struggled in recent years to find a savings vehicle that returns anything even close to the rate of inflation. It then seems pretty harsh that interest on savings in ordinary bank accounts, above what is now quite a low limit, gets taxed, meaning that the rate of decline in the real value of one's savings is accelerated. Mr Bell seems to want to take this a step further by clamping down on what is already a quite limited way of shielding some savings from HMRC. |  | | |  |

Labour v Tory there's very little difference in reality, although these Torys of the last 10 yrs have put a gulf between them.
Basically there's one law from those in government and another for every f'er else, basically they can push the boundaries for their despicable selfs hid monies/incomes etc and clamp down on everyone else.
Its called legalised Corruption and Tax avoidance. there's a five letter word for them beginning with the third letter of the alphabet! |  |

There's not much difference between Tory and Labour these days because for decades the UK electorate has shown very little interest in extremism. For all the accusations that the current Govt are "Fascist" or "Far right", in reality they're nowhere near.
Probably there's a tendency towards the right as UKIP, The BNP and others have achieved far more electoral success than any equivalent on the left such as The Green Party or Corbyn could ever hope to, but for the most part the loons are rightly ignored at the ballot box.
Whether that will remain the same as radical Islam continues to grow in influence remains to be seen. [Post edited 2 Jun 19:20]
