Food for thought, especially with regard to their targets for Academy graduates in and/or about the first team squad on matchdays. It made me wonder what we are doing in terms of trying to emulate their model going forwards, e.g. by looking at what other clubs are doing so much more successfully than we have been (which is probably just about all of them).

Definitely a good question for Marti at the next Fans Forum, methinks, as to how he sees the current set-up and how it can be improved.

Poll: On the basis of pre-season.the current squad, where will we finish this sea son?

"Bristol City player pathway manager Trevor Challis told BBC Sport."

Now that's a name i haven't heard in a while.

Bristol City have an excellent catchment area down there in the south west which must help things for prospects not wanting to move too far away at a young age. Its tricky for us in London as whilst a bigger pool, the talent gets swooped up early doors. If we can develop a reputation for actually bringing lads through that would help massively in attracting and retaining.
