It looks as though the establishment of the socially-liberal, socialist all-Ireland republic is further away than some imagine. Did the voters think the Irish government is getting too woke?

Blair claiming any kind of credit for the peace in NI is the political equivalent of John Terry running onto the pitch at presentation time in full kit.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Its almost like changing nothing would have, you know, changed nothing…..

The leaders of the time had to do what they needed to do to deliver future peace.
Yelling at the moon had failed.

It was far from perfect but it allowed the hard men on both sides to climb down and allowed the more progressive voices at least a chance.

Its almost like you don't understand what was at stake, and what was delivered.

Yet past service men can be prosecuted and put on trial whilst fanatical nut jobs walk away with impunity. Not very fair that!

Irish Prime minister resigns. Wonder if that was because he lost the referendum.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.

The hard men on both sides? The politicians climbed down for the terrorists and allowed people following those same politiicians orders to be prosecuted while murderers were given immunity.

The more progressive voices, what like the same Tony Blair who pushed for an illegal war and got tens of thousands killed on the basis of lies.

All they had to do was insist UK services personnel got the dame guarantees about prosecution and what was delivered? have the "peace walls" come down, has terrorism been totally eradicated, has justice truly been served?

The Northern Ireland-related Terrorism threat level has changed from severe to substantial,
