I’ve spoken to a mate ref Llanelli hosting this reckons they were never approached. Far more than I expected tho.

I can see why the players would want to play at the Cardiff City Stadium - it’s a much bigger draw than Parc Y Scarlets and they’ll always be able to say I played at the CVS, but for the fans it’s an extra hour or so on the road and not half as convenient as PYS, which to be fair isn’t a bad ground.

When you are sacking staff and culling budgets you should not wait to be approached. This sort of mentality explains why they have lost an army of fans.

Perhaps Haverfordwest will consider their fans for the next round and play it at Swansea. Far easier for their fans to get to with a shorter road journey and direct rail links to Swansea.
Haverfordwest has always been full of Swansea supporters and of course are members of the West Wales FA.

Quite a link between our clubs, not just in nickname but the sheer amount of bluebirds around H west…..
Coming from there I know two. One was from Cardiff and the other became the fittest bloke I knew in town due to the amount of running he had to do most days. 😉
I realise there may well be a few others, but they are a very loyal lot down there to the Swans. Spoke to a mate regards this a few months ago who runs a pub in town. He’s lived there all his life and has seen one Cardiff top in 56 years.
