You wouldn't sack a manager and bring a new one in just before you are due to play Man City away. You'd wait until after that game. Perhaps Ralph's fate has already been decided but the timing of the announcement has to be right.

Sounds plausible, in which case some sympathy for Ralph (presumably) knowing his job is on the line and his one chance to buy himself a little more time is a trip to The Etihad.

If he's feeling doomed, maybe he'll throw caution to the win and come up with an unusual and inexplicable team selection...oh, wait a minute...

To be fair our defence was crap last season so doesn't matter there I don't think. Larios was decent to be fair and won the ball for our goal... and actually KWP and Bella/other CB were caught out for 2nd goal. Mara was defending against Onana for the 1st goal which shouldn't be happening in anyway.
