Blimey, that was hard work. Norwich came with an extra bus, playing for pens and it almost worked. Lots of sideways passing again but it's really hard to slice through an eight man defence every time you have possession. Cuco could have done with a more decisive attitude and crossed earlier rather than an extra touch and back again but when he did have a shot or first time cross he got vilified for that as well. I'm glad for his sake he was out of earshot for the second half so he didn't have to hear the moaning. Josh Sims started well then disappeared for the best part of an hour before finishing strongly. Maya was cool at the back and nowadays seems to time his one major lapse when there is no threat. All four at the back did well and McQueen did brilliantly to cross for the goal. Harrison Reed disappointed last night, I'm a big fan but he was off the pace and he wasn't the terrier that we've seen in the past - maybe needs the confidence of a run in the team but that's a big risk. But good to see SIX academy boys starting the game. Mind you, I noticed the mascot was almost as big as our midfield!

Cracking game full of incident passion terrible ref and no way a pen they had lot of possession and a good side but we nullify them by hard work and organisation great to see mannng furlong doing so well but mass mackie hall great games solid d all round. Smithies is a premiership goalie let's enjoy him while he is here what a wonderful penalty save and several other great saves the sessinong save was also great. Good to see a near full house and great atmosphere glad crowd stuck with the team and we could see a good performance maybe a bit more quality with the final ball we might have sneaked a win

Well played Saints. Our strongest team were on the pitch, and the result was 2-0 at half time for first time this season! Leicester looked lost in their diamond and we made them pay. JWP and Cedric where stand out, but everyone had a decent game, even Hojbjerg. Despite PH snatching at two golden chances, it was great to see JWP and PH running into those positions. Whilst PH made some mistakes, but even when he made those mistakes, he covered back and made it right . Only Gray carried a threat for leicester and Vardy's appaling hack at VVD was indefensible and the only blight on the game.

We held possession really well, constantly probing around their 18 yard line, Tadic flicking clever little balls through that were the bread and butter for Mane at the end of last season. Whilst I know that is Puels style to hold possession and dominate midfields this way, it would be nice if we could try and switch defence into attach at bit better. We did it in the Everton game at St Mary's so it is within the team.

Bring on Wednesday.

Good positive display and everyone seemed to gain in confidence as the game went on. A few duff passes from the back (not all Maya) and midfield and one or two chances that should have been put away. But the defence was solid from start to finish and we looked much more threatening in attack than we have in the last few games. Very impressed by JWP who is finally settling into some decent form and Hojberg had his best game so far for the club in spite of missing at least one sitter. Strange atmosphere in SMS but probably down to kick-off time.

OMG..scrape me off the ceiling! epic performance, superb defence brilliant decisive counter attacking play. First half we were in control, second we held on and then Simms/long finished it off, I was on my knees praying as Simms picked up the ball, thought he was going to do an Owen and then found long, perfect first touch and then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bring on Manure.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. I never want this feeling to end. Fantastic effort by everyone involved. Special praise to Romeu, who's done fantastic work all year, and Shane, whose tireless running has earned my complete respect--it's only fitting that he's the one who has provided my favorite Saints moment ahead of all the great moments since Markus occasioned our revival. I'll never forget my reaction in a bar full of Liverpool and Arsenal fans: "OOOHHHHHHH----holy **** we're going to WEMBLEY!!!!!!"
