I left Rochdale 25 + years ago but still have family in the town. I probably get to about 10 games a year. Club is in my bones, always will be, used to walk up to the ground as a 9 yr old - was hooked first time I went.
I am genuinely worried about the state of the club. Things need to change. The club clearly needs a new start in the boardroom and it needs investment.
I think there is an opportunity for a group of fans (the more the better) to step up here and fill the void. Buying a significant chunk of the shares or even buying the club is not a complete pipedream.
I am serious on this. And happy to stick a good chunk of money in. DM me if you would like to discuss. If anyone from the Trust is reading this and would like to have a chat let me know.
AFC wimbledon have raised £2M through crowdfunding. https://www.seedrs.com/afcwimbledon Valuation circa £19M - makes me wonder what our valuation is considering we own the ground (I know shares are only worth what people are willing to pay)
Dale should consider a similar route for fundraising perhaps. Target could match cost of training ground. I know I would be happy to put a few quid in, in return for some shares.
According to BBM on official site - he has gone back to Blackburn injured. Does that mean we still pay whatever wages we agreed with them whilst on loan? Also leaves us very thin.
" Pochettino calls on the FA to intervene over Rochdale's pitch ahead of FA Cup 5th round at Spotland. Says it is no in a condition to play football & could lead to injuries for both sets of players. "

Pochettino: “I think the FA Cup (sic) need to take a look at the Rochdale pitch and decide if it is good for the competition. I think it is a big risk to play on a pitch like this. For Rochdale too.” More @MirrorFootball
