I've been a fan for many many years, more than most but not as long as others maybe. My impression is that the aim is only to stay in League 1. If we'd managed a cup run things would be more relaxed, secure for next season. As it is, be practical, we're a very low budget club, Hill's hands are tied and in the end if we survive and remain in League 1 this season it's probably the level we are at. The only way we will move up is with a consistent, throwaway cash injection. Maybe the new board will be the ones to break the bank. Accept that we are a fantastic small club, one with pride and history and support through the thin bits as well as the thick.

Cannot wait for satday. Feels like when we were about to play cov all those years ago. Let's get it on can't focus on anything else this week. Works on the back burner, family put to one side. All I'm doing is trawling the web looking for clips. Hendon goal against Leeds is a stand out event at the mo. Can't find enuff on that Dale v cov match when I was a lad. Help me out, is there any coverage/video clips/media available? AllHail! |

Staying over a couple of nights. Just thought I'd update you on weather, travel etc. Journey up very good, came via Blackburn and M6 north. Only slowed at three lanes to 2 after junction 33 and two to 1 after levels hall. Weather quite foggy in parts but clear in barrow. Murky and cool but not cold. Allhail. Stay safe. |
