Looks like we are going to have to get a new hybrid pitch from July 2019. Also programmes will no longer be compulsory, but I think this was mentioned before as a possibility.
I think the article about Steve Banks should have been in the MK programme seeing as he played for them before they changed their name. A bit of a red rag to Wimbledon fans in the away end! Presumably we couldn't get an interview with Alan Reeves as he would have been the obvious choice of ex-player for this programme for both sets of fans.
Some of you may remember that in the 1980s at a shareholder meeting a teenager told Tommy Cannon that he didn't own any shares in his own name and therefore couldn't sell off Spotland to line his own pockets (I think I have the story right). This almost certainly saved the club from oblivion. Anyway, I did not realise until yesterday that this teenager, Edward Lord, had gone into public life until I saw this article in the Telegraph about FA discrimination policies (about two-thirds of the way down):
For those with access to Dale Player there is a review of 2005/06 (Holt and Lambert). I've only watched the first 15 minutes or so but it was nice to see our 4-1 win at Orient again.
There were a couple of other items of interest that have been discussed on here. Blackpool have made an offer for Grant but that it has been rejected. If they come back with a better one then Grant will probably go. Lillis has an injury but should be back for the Macclesfield or Preston games - if not then we will look to get someone in.
