Should never have taken the extra years option on Willock. Shouldn't have touched Richards with a barge pole. Now, if either had Ainsworth's character, we'd be alright. |

Yeah, the similarities with the Leeds game - which was the final straw for me - were bare. It just seemed a bit better because the breakthrough came a bit later. If WBA had scored in the first minute, which they could have, what would we have done? Nothing, I'd wager. It irks me a bit when he brings up the Burnley game as a masterclass of management - it wasn't, they had, I think, 12 shots from inside the box in the first half alone. A good performance in his eyes appears to be shit but resolute. |

Armstrong has attributes, we aren't playing to his strengths. He needs to improve on his awareness regarding being offside, but he could also do with players releasing the ball quicker to him, while he makes his initial run. I feel for the lad, a loan would have been good, he also could do with being used more sparingly at this stage of his development. |

Fair points Baz, but I can't agree. If we get relegated, there will be no faith in Ainsworth's abilities at any level - supporters, players, potential players. I can watch direct football if it's done well, but this is just shit and, quite frankly, some of the bullshit going on out there on the pitch tactically is utterly moronic. Contrary to some opinions, I think the big majority of players at Rangers are good lads, they keep running, but their body language is awful at times, and I think that's with what they are asked to do. People say we can't financially afford to sack Ainsworth and co., I'd argue we can't afford to keep them on. The obvious cost is relegation, there's also declining crowds and associated sales, and, importantly, the depreciation of the value of our assets - if, for instance, we sold Chair or Dykes etc in January, we would get a lot less for them then we would have pre-season. Next time Amit has an itch, he should buy some cream. |

Dykes and Armstrong are both strikers who are on their heels in the box. Which is a shame. |

Still, Harry and Mark pulled his pants down at Rangers. No, Danny, NOOOOO! |

I'm not his biggest fan, but A) that was a good win tonight, and B) these pro/against arguments are so boring now |

It's not religion, it's not flags, it's us, humans. I buy into the myth-making theory - the reason we can exist together in much larger groups then our cousins/whatever (Chimpanzee's, neanderthals etc) is because we are able to create collective fictions to unite behind (because we have language). Unfortunately, different groups of us have created different myths to support...... It was always going to be something. What enable's us, also destroys us. |

And, it appears, the old fella killed in Hartlepool was another victim of terrorism. And the kid killed in America. The political nature of the on-going argument has me wandering if we should stop this nice, but ultimately meaningless, gesturing. Same with the flag flying on town halls, btw. |
