I just asked Grok who the next manager should be and one of the candidates it came up with was Gareth Ainsworth. |

Little known fact. Draw a line due west from charing cross (the centre of London), and it pretty much goes straight through HQ. We are sooooo west London. Go west young man, go west. (Though unlike the “forty-niners” Americans who headed west to san fransisco in search of gold, if you head west from charring cross you will soon discover a huge festering mouldy turd.) Not a single goal in 720 minutes against other teams, one roughly every 15 minutes against us. |

Good article in the times today on Benham over at Brentford. What a difference having someone with a plan and some nous to what we've had over the years. Shocking. We are going nowhere under these owners. Rumour is they told nourry/cifuentes ‘we want a trophy” Nobody at the club knew what this ‘trophy’ thing was, so they looked it up in the dictionary…… “ atrophy “ meaning…..gradually decline in effectiveness or vigour due to underuse or neglect. Synonyms: wasting away, decline, decay, decaying, withering, deterioration “There you go boss, atrophy” “Boss?” |

Currie Byrne wegerle? A tradition to be proud of, not one to be ‘binned’. Stupid thread. |

I was in the away end too, couldn’t actually see the ball hit the net because of the view from there, but it’s still possibly my favourite rangers goal that I’ve witnessed live. I can’t remember anyone else ever scoring one similar, a truly unique goal. Fortunate it was caught on tv. Clive was the best natural goalscorer we’ve had, if he hadn’t got injured we would have won the cup in 82. |

I have no memory of this at all, am sure some of you probably went. Good to see Ray and Wegerle again. We looked a good team then…. |

David Lammy’s just had a bet on Henry VII succeeding him. |
