| Forum Thread | Standing in seated areas. at 13:43 18 Oct 2014
Does anyone know if standing in seated areas is against the law, or 'an offence', these days? I've been watching Man City v Spurs and I can see that everyone is standing in a seated area, as seems to be the same at a lot of other grounds. At Spotland, away fans seem to be allowed to stand in Wilbutts Lane - a seated area. Another question: if I bought a ticket for a seat and the people in front were standing so that I could not watch the match, would I have any rights , under the 'trade descriptions act, for example? |
| Forum Thread | 'Reserved seating' at Newport at 14:18 29 Apr 2014
'Reserved seating' tickets for Newport were not booked to plan - as seems to have been the case with other away match tickets. Does anyone believe fans will sit in the seats that they have been allocated? It seems to me that if, when buying your tickets for 'reserved seating', you are not given a choice regarding where you wish to sit, then it will be just like any other match, where people sit where they wish within the 'reserved seating' areas. I know this happened at Fleetwood, when it was interesting and amusing to watch late arrivals (and obviously not regular supporters) demanding that the stewards move people so that they could sit in their allocated seats. |
