Stansfield from Fulham. Unbelievable, not long since we were there and I think our record buy is still £150k. Birmingham have spent £30m in this window. |

My memories of this are we battered them (obviously) and it poured down for the whole game. Was it close to being abandoned but Torquay didn't want to have to travel back up again? |

I'm guilty of relquishing the need to spend my hard earned salary and more over, time to watch such dross. The club is now a non league set up due to falling gates and lack of investment. It's not a dig at the current board, who would want to throw money at club that has never achieved anything? I'll still support in non league, but it's a sad place to be.

So refreshing to hear it, as I'm sure most of us see it. Too much passing it around in the middle of the pitch, give it a wallop if needs be, getting forward quickly and pretty isn't always best. He talks a lot of sense and seems to know what it's going to take to get back to League 1. I'm very impressed with him so far. |

He was my first footballing hero after watching the 1970 FA Cup final and replay against Chelsea. My first kit was the classic Leeds with the big owl on it, complete with number 7 on the back. Later had the number 7 sock tags too. A great player with a bullet of a shot.
