After 31 years, more than half my life, I no longer live in Sheen. Do I need a new persona to go with my new location? Unfortunately I can’t think of any punning references for my new location. Any other Pimlico Rs?
I do my shopping at Waitrose in Sheen. I bet you did as well. Nice big carpark and a Gails where the bank used to be, plus that new Italian shop - Valentina. And of course, just up the road, a nice walk through Richmond Park. Bet you wanna come back now….
Blimey, I've lived in both East Sheen and Pimlico. Neither hotbeds of Rfosi, but I was in a pub (The Constitution) in Pimlico one night watching football and a chap says something about QPR. 20 years later we're still in touch!

I avoided including a location as I was moving every couple of years at the time until I settled when I bought my flat. A friend of a girl I worked with called me Juzzie and it just kinda stuck.
Most people tend to move outwards so moving inwards is an interesting move. Good luck, hope it all goes well. BTW - trivial bit of info….. Pimlico is the only station on the Victoria line that doesn’t interchange with another line/rail link.
I know Sheen really well, got good childhood memories from that area. . My first school was east Sheen Primary when we lived in Barnes, we then moved to Richmond. My wife went to Sheen senior school. Palewell Park is where my dad taught me to ride a bike on my Raleigh Striker. Do you remember there used to be an old book shop opposite the library.? I used to get hold of the latest graphic novels and DC comics. I think its gone now sadly , but i loved popping in there. Also, there was a newsagents near East Sheen where it had a load of arcade machines.. Golden Axe, Street Fighter etc. Spent my school holidays in that shop. The old guy who worked there used to sell you individual fags for 50p. I've got happy memories along the Upper Richmond road, on the 33 bus, causing mischief, up to Wandsworth. Richmond, Sheen ,Mortlake, Barnes, Putney, Roehampton(born in Queen Mary's). Ive now lived longer in Bracknell, 26 years this year, but I miss my old manor. Sorry, just waffling.. lol
I like Pimlico, had a pal back in day from that part of town, also dated a lovely girl who lived on Warwick Way.
When Itsabiga mentioned he lived 20mins south of Pacific Palisades the other day, my immediate thought was he should use the 'moniker', Santa.
Oh, and I've never lived in the City of Boston, always in abutting communities, 25 years plus now in Milton, but if I signed in as Milton I'd sound like a right toffee nosed prick.
Faced the same question myself some time ago since I no longer live in Denmark (after spending a large part of my life there on and off). I subsequently moved all over the world before coming back to the UK a number of years ago, but figured Danehoop is the name I have used since Rivals Days so no point in changing. I am Danehoop, Danehoop is me.
Ha, I grew up in Barnes too PunteR. And my first and second girlfriends lived in Sheen... a very long time ago!
I lived in Barnes only up to the age of 6. Mum and dad rented the upstairs of a house on Elm Grove road. Red Lion pub down the end of the road, with a pub garden, perfect for a 1970s parent. I was always in the area though growing up.
