80% of people don't speak welsh. But we are no less welsh than a speaker of welsh aka a dead language because it was killed. Only places that speaks it is north wales and Patagonia. After the Falklands I would never step foot in that hell hole. Also north Wales is a no because of the obnoxious whispering the village because we are not LOCAL.

He was wrong to say north Wales is the only place because in Deeside,none is spoken outside the compulsory welsh lessons . It is detested . It is never used In Gwynedd,try getting by without speaking Welsh if you have moved to the area and donβt speak it and worse ,are English. You are painting a ludicrous image of Wales,the likes of which is alien to the good people of Swansea CRdiff Newport,the tgree most populated areas overwhelmingly . The noise comes from rural backwaters and former Aberystwyth alumni who pine away for a Wales independent of England,one that will see 80% speak welsh and then to open up the Chapels again. No? Real Wales me ol mucker . Tradional non conformism with all that that entailed. Why not go back 60 yrs and have a dry Sunday ,then kids could go to Sunday School in peace
