For a winger he's slow, doesn't beat players, has a less than good pass, plays wide rather than on the wing which adds to the congestion around the edge of the box and indecisive.

People are calling for Peterson out of desperation as we’ve got plenty of wingers, but none of them are particularly productive. If he comes in and has a few quiet games, people will start calling for McKay again.

I'm calling for Peterson because every time I've seen him play he's looked decent and I find his almost total marginalisation given we paid half a million for him somewhat weird. I'd want to see more of him on that basis even if the rest were playing well.
