RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD 19:26 - Sep 16 with 65721 views | MrSwerve | Who's your money on then? Probably the All Blacks in all likelihood. I'm hoping that Wales have a strong showing - hopefully we will make the semis at least. Going to be tough though.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 18:50 - Oct 26 by sherpajacob | Indeed, which further proves the point. Add fully fit, Scott Williams, Ellis Jenkins, Anscombe, Sanjay, and Falateu to tomorrow's squad and I'd back us to win the whole thing. |
For me only anscombe, sanjay and falateu make the starting 15 and with those 3 in the side id agree we would have a great chance to win the thing.

On which planet would Anscombe start ahead of Biggar? Agree with the other two though. Faletau, in particular, is a huge loss.

The planet that existed before he got injured Deeeerrrrrrr. As he was starting every game before he got injured, he brought control and a bit of flair then biggar came on to finish teams off.

Always thought that was a bit of a Gatland blind spot. All about opinions but, for me, Biggar controls the game better, is better defensively and is a better tactical kicker. Anscombe makes far too many wrong choices for me.

Its all about opinions warwick and it seemed to be working with anscombe starting, he is a good kicker of the ball in open play but i rate biggar as well and hes been playing out of his skin this wc possibly because of jjs comments.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 23:38 - Oct 26 with 1528 views | BrynCartwright | England were way better than NZ this morning. Anyone who saw the game saw it and all credit should be given to England for being the much better team on the day. However, I would not go so far as to say the English 'demolished' the Kiwis as the BBC Sports website has so delighted in telling the world in it's main rugby story link today. Yep they were way better and deserved the win, but whatever web sports editor sanctioned 'demolished' needs a little rugby education.

Dismantled would be a fairer word. Credit has to go to Jones , he demolished Hansen in the battle of the coaches and NZ leadership in the field was non existent

Indeed. It’s going to take something special from here I’m afraid. Yes, there are only 3 points in it but SA aren’t going to tire and we are not physical enough to combat them. I hope I’m wrong but just can’t see Wales doing it from here.

Well that’s the game plan. We can’t compete in the physical side so we need to turn them that way. Not pretty I admit but it’s the only way. Wales imo are not getting to the breakdown quick enough. I saw Tipuric and Moriarty slowly jogging to a breakdown earlier when Wales were going forward. Need to be much quicker and show more energy.
