Went to a comedy club in Milford on sea last night and the artist, Andy Stedman, was doing his routine and 'sang' about dreaming of playing in midfield for Queens Park Rangers! So a cheer went up from me and he was surprised to see an Rrrs fan in the audience and said 'did you go last night and it was shit wasn't it' to which I agreed.

Anyway, after his set he found out table and had a chat. Really nice guy and a very good comic too. He sits in the loft, I think, NU.

Look out for Andy Stedman if he is playing your way.

We’ve had a few comedians play for us in the 50 years I’ve been watching the hoops.

I was in NU the other night - I wasn't laughing.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

It's worth pointing out that Michael Gove isn't strictly a comedian - he's more of a parody act.

"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.

Hey! You were in my neck of the woods. Can’t think of any comedy clubs though?
Whereabouts, exactly?
There’s a fair few Rangers dotted about the area here

It was at the Milford on sea community centre, comedy night. It is every quarter, first one I have been to. Tickets like gold dust, sells out within minutes of going on sale, four weeks before.

I have had a chat with three or four Rrrs fans down here, since I moved into the area nearly two years ago.
