BBC Radio Five Live is doing a documentary tonight on the absence of black managers in the football league/Premier League. It mentioned that the first black manager in the Football League was Tony Collins at Dale in the 1960s -- despite having watched Dale since 1989, I for one did not know that. He was manager for seven years too, apparently.
