Should E20jack/Dimi be banned again? on 19:39 - Jul 25 by exiledclaseboy
Don’t ban him. He’s not abusive or insulting. All you have to do is exercise a modicum of self control and don’t engage with him or only do it in your terms. You don’t have to respond to every post he makes otherwise he will quite literally keep you on his hook for hours on end.
This.. Ten times over.

Should E20jack/Dimi be banned again? on 08:42 - Jul 26 with 2716 views
It should come as a surprise to nobody that he is a heavy user of the technique of psychological projection, where he projects his own state of mind onto others.
Recently he has been telling me how exhausted I am, and you really don't have to be Sigmund Freud to understand what that means. And it is no wonder, since he is binge posting all day and large parts of the night, from what i have seen.
It is by no means a stretch to suppose he is heading for a serious nervous breakdown, and this has been my personal belief for some time.
The question is whether that is this a desirable outcome? Specifically, can there be mental healing without first some kind of catharsis?
I tend to suspect the answer to the latter question is no, but I have come to the conclusion I really don't know enough about Dim's specific problems or psychology in general for that matter, to ethically play any kind of active role in that process.

This has to be one of the funniest Shaky posts of all time.
Now, I’m going to go into great detail here as it is probably important for the health of this forum, and certainly for this individual. This will be the free psycho-analysis that if you take heed of will absolutely improve you as a human being, and if not, certainly as a poster.
......
Shaky has spent the last 12 months emotionally involving himself in this site like some sort of religion. Let’s remember now, the amount of times I have engaged the troll initially - you can probably count on one hand, yet we must “speak” daily.
My tone of post has remained the same since post one to now. His has got more and more wild, more and more angry, more and more delusional and his stories and accusations more and more elaborate - but as I have said before, his view of the improbable or impossible scenario ranks just as likely as the most common - in short, what he is doing, he feels it completely normal. The line between fantasy and reality is often blurred.
This shows the posters level of obsession. Shaky has what we call “delusional rankism”. He has built himself an online persona and emersed himself into it that he sometimes believes it wholeheartedly, but his mask slips every so often and the trained eye spots it a mile off. Anyone who is a threat to what I can only think is his safe space is a complete and utter enemy in the ranks.
The vendetta started when he was trying to further what I can only describe as a failing CV by putting forward the obvious and already well known suggestion of unfair prejudice. To him this was his creation, his raison d’être, his identity and chance to fulfil his desire for online respect - or at least that’s what he expected. E has on more than one occasion blurred out in a rage “SHOW ME SOME F*CKING RESPECT!”.
When it did not arrive, others also suggested similar courses of action Shaky felt his online identity was becoming diminished. How others view him is paramount to his mental state. This is shown by his daily references to “we all”, “show everybody”, “everybody reading this must think..”, “for the readers...” - he lives his life through the eyes of others. It is absolutely common in someone wanting to be accepted, the first thought is how am I perceived and your behaviour mirrors that in order to conform to that understanding of acceptance
This has festered in Shaky for over a year now. His accusations have been (but not limited to):-
- the usual accusing a whole host of posters of being me, the Res, club staff. When people put him down he has to rationalise it that they are the same people otherwise he has to give in to the fact he is not popular. (The complete opposite to me, I couldn’t give a monkeys).
- this went on to accusing myself and the Res of being paid vast amounts of money from the club in order to push a narrative online. This was no throw away line, something he convinced himself of and emersed himself in it completely.
- when he posted some of his really badly put together spreadsheets based from transfermarkt.com and people laughed at them. He created a story where people had been employed by the club and more specifically Pearlman and Jenkins and had created a plot to discredit him online through us. Utterly staggering, but he believed this wholeheartedly.
I am not one to throw the mental illness thing around lightly, but does this sound like a sane individual? In his mind the above is just as likely as the opposite.
Now this absolutely respesents mental fatigue and exhaustion, it’s utterly impossible to have the above me true and it not translate to complete emotional deterioration. He is a a frequent user of the art of projection. However with projection, it only works if the persona you are projecting this on also shows similar traits. Unluckily for Shaky we couldn’t be more different.
I simply respond to the level of interest in me. I’m completely and utterly calm and level headed at all times and couldn’t give a monkeys what people think. This is the opposite of the signs of mental fatigue - this is normal behaviour and as such can post in this manner for as long as I wish. It is impossible to Shaky to continue in his form, utterly impossible. Whether that manifests itself in a complete break from the forum or a complete change of behaviour - we can only guess. It will be interesting though.
Now this is an extra detailed phyco-analysis as we can use this post as reference to your future behaviour. So excuse the detailed length of it.
Do your usual google search on rankism. Rankism is usually found in organisations an comes with experience.
Delusional rankism is when you convince yourself it is coming from a position of experience.
Rankism
Rankism is "abusive, discriminatory, or exploitative behavior towards people because of their rank in a particular hierarchy".[1] Rank-based abuse underlies many other phenomena such as bullying, racism, hazing, ageism, sexism, ableism, mentalism, homophobia and transphobia. The term "rankism" was coined by physicist, educator, and citizen diplomat Robert W. Fuller.
So for example Andrew McGlashen was posting the other day, and you had an uncontrollable urge to question his “age” and then “experience” in a patronising and condescending way that he dare be qualified enough to contribute to the subject in hand.
This was not based on a justified position of rank but a delusional position of rank. A bit like an obnoxious backseat driver without a licence.

It gets even more hilarious. Does anyone have any idea of what he's talking about ever? Becoming increasingly nonsensical, which takes some doing.
You have never heard of a delusional form of rankism?
I guess being a student you are usually the victim of rankism.
Intelligent people tend to have a much better idea of what I am talking about yes. Maybe this is what is letting you down.
Have you paid the £100 yet? Or are you still at a stage where you are prancing around the forum in between shandys at the student bar calling people names like a teenager that has finally left home?

Bloody rebel.
No I haven't because you're quite literally the first person on the internet to ever say it.
Please just stop, Dim. It's quite sad seeing your sanity slowly ebb away.

Well then mark this down as a watershed moment, rankism being driven by delusion is not a foreign concept. The fact you and Shaky club together to battle a common enemy (someone with the ability to burst your need for online attention) in a google based construct of concept is amazing. “If I can’t google it effectively, it can’t exist” - the fact common sense suggests otherwise is irrelevant to you “coz google innit”.
Stop asking you for the £100 you owe me? No Drizzle, not until it’s paid. I am afraid if your deep rooted inadequacy (may get a google result if it helps) forces you to make such claims and bets - then it is only helpful to your “health” shall we say, if you are either made to pay or constantly reminded of your failed attempts at obsessive creationism as a coping mechanism.
You may not see it now, you may not see it in 10 years time when you actually have a job. But I am helping you. I mean look at the thread you felt forced to create ffs... then you talk about sanity? You are a obsessed with a man you don’t know on the internet, it rarely gets weirder. The fact a few others suffer from the same thing doesn’t excuse it as normal.
