I wouldn’t have described the football as woeful.
You don’t beat the big clubs as regularly as we did by playing like that.
Playing down the channels and up to the big man compared to watching the ball going endlessly sideways,I know what I prefer.
Trying to walk the ball into the net is fine if you have the players who can achieve that but if you haven’t it’s like watching paint dry. [Post edited 27 Sep 14:43]

Dibbling looks very strong for his age,very difficult to knock off the ball.Defenders are very wary of him when he is in their danger area. |

Very difficult,Martin has to have our respect for getting us promotion and it’s probably too early to be looking elsewhere but his insistence on ridiculous tactics is trying a lot saints fans patience. [Post edited 25 Sep 13:30]

I wasn’t comparing Alcaraz to Archer.

Fernandes came off with a few minutes to go Aribo was going to make little difference,Aribo was on after 59, it made no sense and it didn’t work. |

There is precious little height up front. Set pieces and corners, we rely on Centre Half’s to come forward which has its risks. |

I wouldn’t have Archer in the team with Diaz on the bench Why take Fernandez off and replace him with Aribo? Throwing subs about like confetti doesn’t help. |
