| News Comment | Rob Dickie’s M4 odyssey — Column at 23:31:16
“Neither the fans nor Mark Warburton would have liked it, but for our development model to work you have to bite the bullet and sell players at the right time. Dickie, like Dieng, Willock and others, has declined in value significantly from the point we ideally should have sold them, both because of their form and their contract situations. We should have been setting out a market stall at that point, not actively discouraging browsers.†That really betrays the fanbases’ confidence, or lack of, in the club. If this was a well run club with competent people making the decisions, selling your best player wouldn’t be a reason for pessimism because there would be an expectation that the club would spend the money on two players who are just as good, and the team would get better. Of course, here, selling that same player causes angst because everyone knows it’s a lottery who the money’s spent on and, in all probability, most will be wasted and the team will get worse. Not knowing how to maximise the value of your assets is just another on the huge list of things our DoF is incapable of doing. |
| News Comment | Watford bring curtain down on QPR's cup hopes - Report at 17:36:31
Reminded me of a lot of our games in the Prem. Played pretty well but just not clinical enough and always giving away soft goals. Watford had one half chance, right on half time and we go in one down. We huff and puff, create four or five decent chances and miss the lot. |

You've either got the patience of a saint or you're not the full ticket, putting up with this away guff. Thanks for all the reports though Mr W, great job as usual. |
| News Comment | Same old FA Cup story for sorry QPR - Report at 21:04:25
"Ian Holloway must wonder what he’s got to do having lost seven of his last eight Third Round ties" Says it all really. Perhaps accept he's in the wrong job? |
| News Comment | Hasselbaink makes his point on opening night - report at 22:04:59
I'm amazed Burnley didn't keep peppering Green's goal. He fumbled everything. He's getting worse. Not only is his kicking borderline embarrassing, his handling is atrocious. I'm not sure how bad he has to be to be dropped. |
| News Comment | Austin’s last gasp strike halts QPR’s Christmas rot — report at 00:07:13
Judging by HR's post match comments I don't hear the sound of pennies dropping. More dreary, sideways tippy-tappy, mind numbing boredom on the way. Can't believe I'm watching a Harry Redknapp side; something weird going on. |
| News Comment | A lot of quality in the building at 23:00:23
Strange isn't it that most managers when they arrive at a club say that they should not be judged on the team they inherit, but the one they build? Well, the one he inherited stayed up (after he finally reinstated Derry / Hill / Mackie / Taarabt), and the one he built finished rock bottom. You can talk about airbrushing history but 4 points from twelve games is indefensible, surely any idiot can see that. Seriously, how could anyone have possibly have done a worse job? I would have backed us to get four points with no manager at all. Absolue cretin. |
