Very disappointing this will take place on Teams. Having attended others using this format it is very limited with respect to encouraging interaction with the wider fanbase.
The attendance at the last kit focus group meeting using this format was also very low. It should have been enough for anyone present from the Trust and the club to realise that it was an ineffective method to create better engagement with a larger cross section of fans.
I can only apologise. We had set up to stream via our YouTube channel the live event, no idea who has agreed to this change, but it has not gone through any recognised procedure as far as I can determine.

Having an event that all supporters could watch, live or after, using YouTube has surely got to be a better idea than the limitations of Teams which has proven not to be popular.
Presumably Andy Duff will be heavily involved in this meeting and would have been told how well attended the meetings were previously using this method?
Thanks for the reply, there’s hopefully still time for changes to be made and lessons to be learnt around process and procedure going forward.
Meeting postponed. Little explanation as to why but the mention of “ working towards a new date and format” stands out.
A format they knew hadn’t worked very well before yet were persisting with. Hopefully this will mean an in person meeting that can be broadcast on YouTube like the forums.
Tomorrow night. Edit: tweet no longer available it seems so posted the link instead - hopefully there will be someone from the Trust in attendance with all the info collated from the fans meetings last year which the club have been able to update on.

In fact… just looked on the Trust Website as have the shortcut on my phone still & updates I am not aware of… am I the only one?
The Trust send out their monthly newsletter then use their website and social media around this. As volunteers it’s hard to cover every base, but this process works fine.

Not having a pop at all 442 & thanks to all those involved who give up their time.

I don’t think saying x is the only outlet is fair. I’m sure people who regularly post on here will almost certainly check the website.
The daletrust have also pushed it on their media outlets.
The club have rescheduled this meeting so it’s in person as requested by fans, The fact they are hosting this type of meeting is a real positive. Let’s not start off in the wrong foot and criticise at every opportunity. We need to move forward together.

Says 15 watching… when I finally found out how to connect & log in.. let me rewind to the beginning but all I can hear is replies not questions as it sounds like the microphone is under water..

Just some feedback
Well, it was the replies from Andy Duff and George Delves that were the most important.

What was pleasing to hear was the amount of work going on quietly behind the scenes for the future benefit of the club. Plans and proposals for a variety of projects are under way, which, when nearer to fruition will be disclosed as and when they are ready to go.
Contacts being made with companies far and wide, including abroad with a view to promoting the club in new areas to new markets.
There is clearly much to look forward to.
