Apparently wasted 3 weeks at end of last season using old pitch when maybe they could have taken it up + pushed on.
If true, and we've lost the benefit of a home fixture for our 1st game (notwithstanding our recent home form), this was very avoidable and shows an absence of contingency planning.

Pitch was 10 years old and end of life, so all knew it needed complete replacement many months in advance,
Surely on this basis, Kiyan Prince game could have been booked in for day after our last home game or if not, moved to week prior to start of the new season on the new pitch?
Come on, this is basic stuff, just like our unuseable ticket selling website.
Not wishing to needlessly criticize the club, but 4 out of 5 first games are now away from home, not exactly helping ourselves here.

I don't disagree that it's poor planning but once they'd agreed that Kiyan Prince game and a few other events they couldn't really move them especially a celeb game like the Kiyan Prince one which would have taken a lot of work booking ex players and celebs for a fixed date | | | |
