In my opinion Michu is the best player to don the white shirt of our beloved club. To perform at the level he did in the Premier League at such a low transfer fee was outstanding and people forget the plaudits we had as a club and he as a player just over a year ago.
I'm not sure what has happened since, injuries, concerns with his temperament, unhappy that Laudrup went, all reasons why he is seemingly on his way out. I'm surprised to be honest, I was led to believe that he is a down to earth, good guy. Stories going around now seem to allude to him being high maintenance and temperamental to say the least.
It will be interesting to see how much we get for him and even more interesting to see if he passes his medical at whichever club he ends up at.
Whatever though, what a season, I wouldn't class him as a club legend, all too brief, but thanks for some great memories. |  |

Latchford scored 20 plus in two seperate seasons, the second season being in a relegated team.
Michu has had one good season. It by mo means makes him a club legend, not one of our greatest ever.
