Would they have won the playoffs if they made them? If not I imagine getting to the fa cup semi final gave them memories that will last generations especially how that semi final went coming from 3 down and then nearly winning it |

yeah a lot of the kids who used to sit near us are now teenage and have moved to the safe standing bit, my son is chomping at the bit to get in there. The number of younger fans you see especially away is a real plus and something Lee hoos was keen to achieve when he came in. |

shame they couldn't sell JCS last summer, poor fella just can't escape these injuries Great news about Cook & Morrison |

He'd be a massive loss for this season and I really hope it doesn't happen but thats a lot of money and unlikely to get that sort of offer again if it's even remotely true |

the top 3 will be going mad signing players over the next week so it wouldn't surprise me and as much as I'd love Dunne to stay if they are mad enough to pay 2million for him we have to consider it |
| Forum Reply | Adel Taarabt coming back? at 18:52 23 Jan 2025
It won't happen as no chance we can afford his wages and it's a not a very good idea for us and for what we are building but the ridiculous thing is part of me really hopes it happens Bringing him back for Forever R's would be a good idea though |

He's done a pretty good job with them but they haven't sacked anyone for a year so makes sense |

you realise that not Adel don't you? |

Was he found out with us? He played a major part in us staying up that 1st season and was our best player by miles the second season until redknapp threw a wobbler and dropped him after he missed a penalty against Norwich, that performance at Chelsea was incredible he never hit the heights of 20 goals and assists in the Prem but he did a pretty decent job for us I think Adel not hitting the heights of Stan, Marsh etc is not a bad thing, very few players do reach those heights |

Answering my own Question, it's the 8th Feb at the earliest https://www.efl.com/how-to-watch/tv-game-selection-process/ Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made by the broadcasters on a four-week rolling basis starting from 1 February (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March). The selections will then be announced to supporters following an agreement with all required stakeholders within seven days. |

When the vote was done Adel had a few off games and Kenny was playing well plus I think a lot of people thought well Adel will win I'll give Kenny a vote for 2nd place I still think it's very funny he didn't win and very QPR. [Post edited 23 Jan 7:57]

Have our Sky overlords announced the March games yet? Would be handy to plan train tickets for Boro away and West Brom |

I think you need one senior man in there to organise so either Cook and Morrison or Cook and JCS I really like Edwards though and would be a dream signing for us next season if we could do it |

It would be a stupid idea but oh god imagine it, the nutmegs I'd love it |

Personally I wasn't bothered about what effect it would have on future games, there was a week after leicester so whatever we did in that game was never going to have much of an influence over the Plymouth game. If Plymouth have been on the Tuesday after it would have been far more understandable to make multiple changes. My moan was that he would never he would never have picked that team for a league game so why do it in the cup, reversing those 6 changes has seen us win back to back games, I'm just not sure what we were so scared about in basically throwing that cup game. It's a losers mentality that we've had at this club for years when it comes to cup games and you can be sure we'll do it again next year wherever we are in the league and whoever the manager is. As fans we seem to just accept it so it's never going to change |
