45% of the gate receipts so if Spurs sold 50 000 tickets at an average of £40. Tamworth would receive around £900k. Plus any tv fees and commercial sales by the club themselves, scarfs etc etc Basically the FA have f....ed the little guy yet again. But sure Spurs will take their overworked players on a nice little earner tour at the end of the season. |

The FA Cup is far mor lucrative than the league cup. Prize money for 3rd round winners is £105,000 plus a 45% share of the gate receipts. So if 20,000 turn up at a average ticket price of £20 get something like £180,000. So a win and an away game at say Spurs is massively lucrative. Talking of Spurs I'm told Tamworth are charging them £42 each for 50 seats and 30 odd pound for 500 standing. |

Good friday 10th april 1998 away to Sunderland. 2 2 draw after being 2 down at half time. It was absolutely freezing I remember when the coaches turned up and rs fans got off in t shirts ( think they thought stadium of light was Portugal) Ws had been up there for a week at my wifes folks Northumberland cottage so new it was gonna be cold but j have never before or since been that cold. We met some rs fans who were staying in a caravan in Wooler who said it was warmer outside than in. After the game we sat in the car for 30 minutes with the heaters on full to get some life back in the feet and hands. We drewx22 having been 2 down Mije sharon hot a 2nd half brace. Vinny Jones and Razor Ruddock in thd back 4 . I think it was that point that kept us up and Sunderland were promoted. |

On Monday Ladbrokes had us at 100/1 to finish in top 6 and 500/1 for promotion. I think the top6 bet is a cracking good gamble and if they do then why not a few bob on the promotion one ( not automatic but via playoffs) . It was on the outrights page of their odds machines in store |

Open incisive football? What game were you at ? We played , yet again, slow motion football with players jogging and hiding. We made a very average boro Look like world beaters. In the past you all blamed Les but sorry guys this one is on Marti he is not the messiah just a very poor organiser of his resources. |

It seems to a lot of people have spent a lot of time making a simple game difficult. If we had z shot that might improve our chances of scoring and nen dcwinning a game. But at least we cant blame Les for this one. |

Personally if we are gonna persist with playing out from the back we need to speed it up. It's all very slow and laboured and seems quite easy to press and contain. The ball needs to be pinged rather than stroked when passing. |

I bet Martis delighted not to be going. History tells us managers depart very soon after speaking at these events. McLaren was applauded in, Warburton thanked for giving us our club back, Beale the saviour to be and Ainsworth. All departed very soon after these events. I suspect Noury will be excellent at dealing with the type of questions likely to be raised. Water pressure, toilets, beer prices, Chair, etc etc |

That was certainly the view of a number of us post match on Saturday. Have to get thd 9.30 train to have any chance of getting there in a reasonable time. Popped in the blue and white at 12.15 ordered a pint and they said £7.25, well you can whistle for that, walked out left it there someone else can pay. I think at the end of this season when I hit 70 will be my last after 65 years. And during covid they said the game wasnt the same without the fans. !!! |

Means no tickets can be sold on line or in person. Time to rethink digital only it could cost us money. Waiting and hoping for conformation that my season ticket card from last year can be used this season. I was assured it could when I renewed so hope they stck to that |
