Just as well it’s in Cardiff as most down here would be bleating about road closures stopping them driving to the corner shop. The BHF ride used to cause all sorts of complaints when it was in its pomp regardless of the fact it was a charity ride doing a lot of good.

Would they be limited to 20mph where designated in Wales.
A recall a recent cycle event being diverted because of that very reason , I bet there's a lot of head scratching ( probably not) trying to work out the best route into cardiff without the race infringing on roads which have 20mph limits. Although it'll be a good test for the millions of £s spent on cycle tracks which us oiks never use .
