They have their own Ian Henderson. Glen Talyor has scored over 200 goals! for them including 2 on Saturday. We will never have a better chance of a Wembley final though.
What you would call a big unit.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
The best draw we could have hoped for. If we do progress to Wembley the club should be harvesting as much data as possible and market the life out season tickets ect for next year.

Don't disagree, but I am sure that the ticketing arrangements for the Tropy final at Wembley are managed by an external party. The winners get £100k, plus a share of gate receipts once the Wembley and ticket agency fees are taken off, plus each clubs expenses.
Of course we need to get there first - would be nice to achieve a bumper crowd at the semi's though.

I thought that the winners got £ 60k and losers £ 30k?

We have 5 weeks to get this semi final packed out.
A clear short term marketing plan with some attractive pricing needs rolling out ASAP.
How many tickets do Spennymoor need? 250 or 3500? I hope we are in contact to sound them out and find out. The town has 21 000 residents there or thereabouts i am sure they will sell quite a few with Wembley the next stop for the winners.

Could we give vouchers away at the semi-final and offer a few bob off the price of a season ticket or something like that to, maybe, boost the attendance? I was going to say first dibs on Wembley tickets but that's not really going to work.
The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

Lot of noise on X about £1 to get in. This won’t happen as Spennymoor A- have to agree and B - they get half the takings after expenses . So they’ll want a decent pay day out of us. Saturday was £15 so wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same. I’d like to see it brought down to £10 with £5 for concessions.

There is a lot of giddy talk on Twitter this evening including make it a £1 in. Even if you got 8000 through the turnstiles it would be a loss making event and Spennymoor don’t deserve that. Don’t forget that £1 includes VAT. They need to be treated with respect. There are even a couple of comments along the lines of “are we invading the pitch if we win”. As if the pitch isn’t already wrecked!

Good luck on saving your season ( i dont really mean that) and just think you treated this cup with utter contempt on here last year and even had the audacity of accusing the biffos off the same this season? is the national league cup gaining some worth now...?
On your manager situation he should be managing Man City Youth or summut.. you need a no nonsense old school league manager.

If you keep saying something without any evidence does it make it true in your head?
For example: “We don’t need to worry about the future of the club if we cheer on the team we can’t afford… look they’re winning a few games”

We're out of the National League Cup.
If you don't know why your posts keep getting downvoted, there's no hope for you.

There's £12million worth of debt still being disrespected by the giggle lane thieves. And that £1million unpaid mortgage from the early 2000's. And a former owners investors who were conned. And those who bought car park spaces at giggle lane.
Disrespect knows where it lives and it isn't at Spotland. We won't be disrespecting Spennymoor Town or the FA Trophy at all, on or off the pitch.

Just watched the highlights of Sutton v Spenny from Saturday......the latter put up a good rearguard display as well as the two goal show from Taylor who looks like a traditional lanky centre forward with a bit of nouse. McNulty has time to get them scouted so planning no doubt already afoot. Did we send one of our current squad out on loan up there?
We MUST respect them and I'm sure we will, looked like they had a few fans on the road.
As ELLDale said in the Alty thread....."milk every available opportunity".
