Christmas Games a great test 12:27 - Dec 23 with 2012 views | BAWHoops | The next 3 (Swans a, Norwich a and Watford h) should really tell us if we are going top be safely ensconced in mind table this season. All 3 having the sort of season we thought we should be having. If we are picking up 4 points from those games I think it's a great sign for the future

Christmas Games a great test on 12:40 - Dec 23 with 1939 views | dmm | I think we could harvest a few more points than 4 from these games. I've got a good feeling about Norwich away; they're in poor form and Swansea are so, so at best. I'm hoping for a very un-QPR Christmas and 5 or 6 points.

I'm just a bit concerned that Norwich are going to be particularly galvinised for our match there. We made them look very average in the second half at LR and they blame us seemingly for their ill-discipline against us (Gunn and McLean both got retrospective bans - with the latter back just in time to play against us - sigh). I think they may have to change how they deal with Smyth as he ran their leftback ragged and Sainz provided zero cover. I'm more optimistic about Swansea. We did well against them last season.

Very fair point nix, but I still fancy a happy Rs team against grumpy budgies. Let's hope we get a decent ref though.
Christmas Games a great test on 13:20 - Dec 23 with 1692 views | terryb | Are Norwich & Watford any better now than when we played them recently? The three matches are no easier/harder than what we have faced in our seven match unbeaten run. Of course, we may lose all three games, but we are equally capable of winning any/all of them.
Christmas Games a great test on 13:40 - Dec 23 with 1600 views | thehat | I'd be delighted with 3 points from those three games anything else will be a bonus anything less and we will be back to looking over our shoulder.
Christmas Games a great test on 14:00 - Dec 23 with 1506 views | BlackAndGoldRanger | 4 points, a boxing day WIN!! Little possession, little Swansea threat but sneak a 1-0. Saito. 2 or 3-0 defeat to Norwich, they will be right up for it because we are their biggest rivals of all time now. Grasses, snitches etc. They also won't be as poor, they did create chances against us too, unlike Preston. Draw against Watford after a busy festive period, 3 game week usuals.
Christmas Games a great test on 15:42 - Dec 23 with 1349 views | Juzzie | Just booked tickets for the Watford game so, naturally, desperate for a win on that one. Will be me & the kids first game of the season and apart from Preston some 18 months ago, we've have not seen a home win in multiple visits (sorry, I'm not a jinx, promise, we've had such shite form the last couple of years) [Post edited 23 Dec 15:46]

Christmas Games a great test on 17:36 - Dec 23 with 1201 views | numptydumpty | If you add in the Luton home game on the twelfth day of Christmas , the next four games are now all six pointers for where we currently preside in the league ie mid table obscurity.... The unbeaten run will come to an end surely during this period, if it doesn't then I will start questioning my own personal sanity because eleven games unbeaten doesn't happen to any Queens Park Ramgers team I have ever known...

I know the feeling. Got the kids season tickets for the first time this season, and of course no wins. Then we win the two games we couldn't make! Thankfully one came along yesterday and loved it, the other one may have lost the will to attend....but we will be trying again with both of them for Watford as well.

That's insane! Oh well we did finally win at Forest eventually so it's possible to break these jinxes.

Christmas Games a great test on 22:11 - Dec 23 with 933 views | queensparker | I reckon the Norwich game will be tasty - they seemed a surprisingly nasty bitter team and was surprised at their lack of discipline at our’s. Shame Cook will be out it seems, his type of game, but will be a good test of our new defensive spine. Field seems to be stepping up in the shithouse stakes and I hope we batter them again. Surely the little known fact that Martin Luther King supported Plymouth Argyle should be on another recent thread. 😉

You should have put the word out about this earlier. The wonderful travelling Rs fans could have gone en masse to Swansea in full Sgt. Pepper’s gear singing after the win, I have to admit it’s getting better, a little better all the time!
