Interesting that it's still the same team in charge, which is certainly a brave approach. I imagine they want to increase ticket prices but that's extremely difficult to justify after last season. Obviously some people will renew whatever but I can see a sizeable decrease in numbers this season (at least 25%), particularly with Les still there and with a potential price increase.

I’m sure there are plenty of teams it would look terrible value against.

The club is in the situation it’s in so has to charge what it considers a profit-maximising price and that’s fine. I think this is above what that profit-maxing price will be given it’ll make people pick and choose games more and probably spend less overall but the sharp minds at the top of this club are paid the big bucks to make the call.

If true, I'm not sure how our highest price for a new gold season ticket can be justified at £651, when Millwall's highest is £588.

I also like the way in which they have targeted the younger age groups by subdividing them into under 6, 12, 16 & 18 and geared their pricing structure accordingly. That's how you entice youngsters to follow your team from an early age and grow an affinity to the club, meaning that there's a better chance that they will remain followers of that club as they grow older.

We sat in SA Road at the weekend for the Kiyan Prince game, the lack of legroom was unreal, I'd forgotten how bad it was. You'd have to be mad to buy a new season ticket there or in the upper loft in gold at those prices

So true with that final sentence. If that that price were correct, it would get you a ticket in most sections of Crystal Palace's ground as part of phase 1. The same would apply in phase two by adding another £30.
