The problem with Hendrick is not that he's awful it's that his attitude is awful. His breakthrough into the Irish team and the occasional one-off game here and there shows he has (had?) the ability to make a fine career for himself.
Instead he turned into a player who takes no chances, bursts no gut, sweats no bead and one who occasionally shows glimpses of what might have been. He was a terrible signing for us as his attitude was off and he slowed the ball down.
As I've often said, if you get if you're in your third decade at your work and people don;t know your surname, you're really not that good, are you?
