Love it, “we’re one of the most historic “franchises” in the Greater London area”! Apart from that a great piece, shame it couldn’t have been followed by a match under the lights, think they’d have been impressed with the atmosphere compared to a lot of American sports.

The opposition dressing room, yes, but the home dressing room was restyled 5 or six years ago.
Yeah was in them for a few minutes about 3 summers ago - you can see they've made an effort putting in dome nice wooden cubicles and things on the home side. Though it must be a bit of a squeeze with everybody in there.
The away side really was aggressively spartan!
I find that video fairly cringey in places but good on them for making the effort. I took my brother in law and nephew to a match (pre-pandemic) and he too was struck by how the stadium was situated - it was a good visual explanation of how clubs that grow out of the community differ completely to franchises - you could see the penny dropping as he stood there.
