Maybe if ALL our politicians had less alcohol they'd do a better job? Maybe they wouldn't fall asleep in Westminster or say and do such blatantly stupid things.

Of course there will always people who take the p... and good managers should be sorting that out.

Yes Major, my wife works from home 3 days per week. When she was in the office full time she never managed to get all her work done in the day, there was always something left. Now though she finishes her work with plenty to spare. It's not her not doing enough work, it's the people who pass stuff to her that aren't doing as much and they are all in the office. My wife even took on some extra responsibilities to fill the void and still gets it all done. She is more productive at home. The business world is changing and everybody needs to keep up.

I dont think the fuss is about the actual shops losing out (although i think ive eaten our more since wfh than i did previously due to saving a bit of money travelling etc), however I'm sure there is a lot of concern from those owning vaste swathes of corporate property which has fallen through the floor in value since wfh came in.

Most of you were pensioners in 2016. We will be rejoining soon anyhow …. 🇪🇺ðŸ´ó §ó ¢ó ·ó ¬ó ³ó ¿ Thatcher said …. ‘The aim of a Europe open to enterprise is the moving force behind the creation of the Single European Market in 1992. By getting rid of barriers, by making it possible for companies to operate on a European scale, we can best compete with the United States, Japan and other new economic powers emerging in Asia and elsewhere. [end p5] And that means action to free markets, action to widen choice, action to reduce government intervention’. Thatcher would never have backed Brexit.

” action to reduce government intervention.” Barriers to direct intervention were anathema to the man you often claim is your political hero, Killy… ”… all the conception of a common market does is to elevate the marketplace to the status now enjoyed by the various European parliaments. Is it the disenfranchisement of the people and the enfranchisement of market forces? Are we now expected to go back almost a century, reject Socialism, and clasp free trade to our bosom as though it were the one solution of our social evils?” Aneurin Bevan

Yup, Tory party in an absolute panic because their donor chums with large London Office portfolios aren't doing so great. Get the Plebs back to work in the offices. Nothing to do with Work/life balance or productivity. All to do with Property values of the super rich.

Thatcher was strongly in favour of the trading bloc but not the road the |Eu is on now. Another Maggie quote for you “We have not successfully rolled back the frontiers of the state in Britain, only to see them re-imposed at a European level” She was very much in favour of the single market but not in favour of further political integration. https://ukandeu.ac.uk/margaret-thatcher-the-critical-architect-of-european-integ

It's embarrassing how many people fall for their constant stream of lies. Its not even their chums, im sure there are a large number on the benches that have sizeable investments to protect, amazing how that does not constitute a conflict of interest.

No No. The question is ,being a Tory hater, you must support those scousers who are so often held up to be vile filthy thieves. Nobody has the honesty to really say they agree with them or at least the principles.

Firstly, yes i don't not like the conservatives. Secondly i dont understand why you are insinuating that all Liverpudlians are 'vile filthy thieves'. But ignoring that, yes i would support them depending on what the reason would be.
