He was a fantastic header of the ball. we signed him from Port Vale if my memory is correct; whilst Leo Skeete came from Mossley !! In a complete side step to the post, I can recall one player scoring a hat trick in his last game for us. Fairly sure he never played a full game again. Jamie Taylor. Though he was a regular in the successful reserve team in 96/97. Crowds at those games were consistently good as well (a few hundred regularly turned up in the main stand with refreshments and bar available), it was a good way to spend a midweek night out at the time. | |
