And Chelsea lose at home in the 95th minute.

Not such a bad day after all

17% possession, I didn’t think that was physically possible.

You should manage more than that just taking throw ins.

I seem to recall a time when there were suggestions Steve Cook doesn’t offer enough encouragement to the younger players around him.

Wonder if they’re watching this?

Our Boxing Day record suggests a fondness for Turkey dinner and Xmas pud.

We may have a problem here.

They like possession and we like giving it to them.

Wonder if Marti should play them facing goal to avoid any upheaval.

The King's speech?

To be fair, people in football always turn their noses up at people who weren’t in football.

I wouldn’t make any judgment on Nourry based on that.

Quite like the idea of updates from the CEO/DOF at start middle and end of season, feels like there’s a purpose rather than the regular musings we got from the more ‘accessible’ LF which largely amounted to nothing.

Sure we’d like to ask our own questions but they’re all PR trained these days and will waffle around the stuff they don’t/can’t answer which only adds to any irritation.

I’m happy with Nourry effectively putting a poster on the wall every four months, we can judge him on that.

Team who challenges for promotion versus team that rejoices in the heady heights of 14th place, hmm.

He may have realised by now that we’re always a project for next year.

I’ll be very surprised if WBA don’t put out feelers.

Cheers Terry.

Happy if we get a draw, three tough games coming up.

What points will we get from our 'Festive 3' (Swansea A, Norwich A, Watford H)?

There’s something wrong with your graph, I’ve spent most of the night trying to vote for 8 points and it’s not having it.

Granted, the forward signings have been less than good, but Nardi, Varane, Morgan and Morrison have been excellent signings.

To be fair, I don’t think many of the signings were brought in to start games, largely they’re here to give us a better bench, they’re young and would have slowly been introduced to the first team. I’d say only Nardi, Dembele and possibly Madsen were brought in to start. Sadly we were quickly decimated by injuries to first team regulars and they’ve all had to play far sooner than intended.

We’ve had a successful first half of 2024 under this regime and a poor second half although that has presently improved. It’ll be interesting to see if the club fall back on the recent improvement as a cushion for the rest of the season, which might easily backfire, or try to do something about CF in Jan and be better set up for the start of next season.

Now is not really the time to be pulling against the existing club structure.
