I believe that the problem with lack of transfers has been the uncertainty that Kat has had about the future ownership of the club. We've still bought in Gabba, Lemina and Wesley - all good additions to the squad. The problem is the lack of creativity from midfield, we need a "Silva/Mata/Lallana/Ozel" style player to open up defences and create chances for the forwards. Sorry, but Boufal and Nathan just do not have the qualities at this level. Perhaps one of Sims and Hesketh would do better eventually. The next transfer window is key, we must buy in creativity, ship out Long and Austin and get a proven goal scorer to help Gabba. |

no comparison with play in Prague, against Everton we moved the ball quickly often with one touch passing, against Sparta we were ponderous, even after going a goal down. sorry but in both games Redmond was poor, against Everton he was actually dangerous to our defence with giving the ball away. speed of play is the key |

airbnb , booked an apartment for the night, I find this always the best way. 500 yards from the main square and walking distance to the ground. |

I've never seen anything in any accounts over the years that even hint that the owners have taken any money out of the club. In fact, quite the opposite with the funding of the training ground; the football club owes millions to Kat. If you have difference evidence please show us all it |

I'm a simple soul (at the risk of derision from some), and all that Puel has to do is finish higher than Everton and I will be satisfied. |

I think that we need backup for VVD / Fonte backup for Tadic as the playmaker backup for Romeu as defensive midfielder |

I do not think that it will be that easy for the new managers to the Premier League's top 4 to achieve what's expected of them. Man Utd - yes, experience and fast reaction to Mourinho Man City - no, seem confused so far by Pep, big change in style Chelsea - no, again a big change in style Arsenal - yes, Wenger's final year Tottenham - yes, I see no reason why last year's success should not be repeated Liverpool - no, in time maybe but not this year I definately see one of the next tier making the top 4 this year - West Ham, Southampton or Leicester Mid table - Stoke, Everton Relegation - Hull, West Brom and Middlesboro |
| Forum Reply | Looks like Long and Redmond up front Saturday at 18:50 10 Aug 2016
What concerned me was how low key all the celebrations were from the players. It was as if being asked to play told them they were not playing on Saturday and they did not like it. That should not exist when we all know that every team needs 4 strikers and multiple players in midfield. |
