Why can’t we spend what we like, build up a squad of 40 senior players and then make the ones we don’t need redundant? Typical Saints fan: no ambition. |

Translation: I feel uneasy that for once we’ve had quite a good pre-season, we’ve got a great manager who can actually improve our squad which is top heavy with mediocre, overpaid players which we need to shift but that is hard to do in one transfer window, so we’ll probably be comfortably mid-table this season so need to manufacture some drama and negativity to make my life a bit more interesting. |

That's right, it was a joke (not a thigh-slapper admittedly) about you making up mad stuff about sell-on clauses because Lowe and the other fella (genuinely can't remember his name) moving to a bigger club in later years would be the only way of getting to a figure of £10m which you believed those two players were worth. I could have said Real Madrid or Havant and Waterlooville, my point was you plucked a figure of £10m out of the air to try and win a pointless argument and now it's come to pass they're only worth just over half of that you're trying to find a way out. So, my joke was about you making up stuff and then getting caught out. Get it?
The problem is, no matter how many maulings you take on here we still can't get rid of you! |
