It was aTommy Tonka throw-in that lead to the goal.....sloppy play from us giving TT the chance right in front of McNulty.
Our play is pedestrian at best and we need to up the urgency. Our set pieces have been dire, the commentators are saying what we see every week, we are good right up to the penalty area but then lack any "sharpness" (their words!) and Singh has had nothing to worry about. [Post edited 25 Feb 21:47]

I hope that is true re compensation.....but you never know what went on at the Club in those dark days and who might have drawn up any contact......were settlement clauses included? Even so, how much money has the Club leeched out in compo to this trail of loosers who have so called managed us further and further down the pyramid......and worse still on it goes with McNulty the new candidate for a pay off! Crazy stuff! .......and like Starmer's flights of fantacies, it's you and I that pay for all these cock-ups.
I'm sure the guys in charge now,will gen themselves up on making sure this does not happen again....I hope so. |

......we try to walk the ball in like Arsenal did a few seasons ago, but we over do it and end up loosing the initiative. And our shooting from outside the box is woeful.

Watching on DAZN, it's a round trip of 100 miles to the Shay......not on a freezing night. Besides I haven't been a lad for 50+++++years.
Can you have a word with the commentator, keeps referring to Sam Walker in goal and William Hogan.

In a similar vein, I notice Barnet picked up 4 yellow cards tonight in their romp over York.
Are any of our lot near to a ban? We don't seem to pick up that many, perhaps because we are that bit soft without a clogger or two.
Chance to do the double over the Shaymen tomorrow? Get at them on the cabbage patch.
NB: When I commented last week about Southend possibly doing the double on us, Maestro marked it down, even though we helped out,....go on lad, tick this one up. |

Yes he did well along with many others....Kelly in goal , Akpan, Horne.......Jili had a great game till hauled off for protection.
Burger took a big hit from Hubner (who should have walked, eventually getting the equaliser and pen). Looked in pain. He had done really well too, proper tidy player. |
