Burnley clearly have better players than us but they've had plenty of poor performances this season. It would be unfair on non-league sides to say it was like a non-league side against a Champions League team because they'd have at least put up some fight. Plus the last home game of the season, you want to make a statement and send everyone home with a skip in their step, however crap the season has been. When was the last time we got turned over like that in the last home game? Jack Supple must know. |

I'd have to disagree. You're 4-0 down in the final home game of the season and you've pretty much contributed zilch all season, never mind this match. Be pissed off at your performance and at the team's. Sorry if a few kids don't get an autograph from a League Two footballer; never mind, Taylor Richards will be back soon. I just think it reflects the attitude of most of our players - who cares as they'll be another club along soon enough to keep their tattooist in ink. |

While it's admirable how they swarm around Dembele like bees round honey, I think it's very telling how the contrary is also true. Where on earth are our players busting a gut to support him? On Saturday you had one team giving 100% and another at about 25% if we're being generous. |

Running it properly means actually having a vision and ideally not delegating everything to 27-year-old bullshitters. |

I'm glad you put fun in quote marks. Jesus, imagine being Ruben sitting there on Saturday - surely it's humiliating for him? What I don't understand is why people persistently say no one is interested in buying us - clearly they would if the price were lower. |

If Ruben is doing so well, why can't he lower the valuation? For the love of God, why do they persist in owning the club if they patently have no interest in running it properly? |

The more you think about combining those two roles, under someone not long out of university, the more insane it seems. I reckon Hoos just wanted an easy life - I'm a bit confused as to why he's still hanging around. I thought he was going back to the US. Oh to be a fly on the wall at a board meeting. |

Yeah, Paal should have been hauled off after half an hour. He was a disgrace. He will end up going to a mid-table Championship club and have an underwhelming career. That's the thing with a lot of the players we've signed over the last decade - they lack the hunger or personal pride to achieve anything other than mediocrity. They get paid handsomely every week and will do until they retire. I mentioned Ashby signing autographs as he went off on another thread - yes, I get that someone would have slagged him off if he didn't sign them but ffs there is a time and a place. We're 4-0 down in the final home game of the season - at least look like you are bothered about that, get your head down and get off the pitch as quickly as possible. |

I thought he had been in football for more than a decade? He managed that at the age of 27 while still finding time to advocate on Gen Z's behalf? What a man. |

And just remember who got them up in the play-offs last time round... The Palace thing is particularly galling because when we went up as champions, they were in a state. Ergo us getting Warnock, Derry and Hill. As with everything we moan about on here, it all comes back to who bought the club after promotion. If Fernandes had bought West Ham, they'd probably be in League One by now. And here we are 14 years on and it's deja vu with the dipstick owners still f***ing up everything they touch. But wasn't he touting himself for the Sunderland job at the end of last season? The guy on here who knows his ex-boss certainly said that. |

Apparently Ruben was giving him a earbashing yesterday. Imagine being Head Boy Christian yesterday. A lovely hot late spring day, looking forward to the prize-giving ceremony after the Varsity match. The headmaster has turned up to see you and that loud American exchange student who has stayed on another year as he flunked his A-Levels. And then the match begins... |

That was incredible. Walks round the pitch taking the acclaim and signing autographs like he'd put in an heroic match-winning performance. We're 4-0 down. You've pretty much been appalling all season and we signed you instead of Isaac Hayden which is like turning down Salma Hayek for a night with Bella Emberg. [Post edited 26 Apr 23:49]

Sadly never going to change while the idiot owners are here. It's incredibly depressing. |

Yep, the Marti song was sung loudly at the start but everything soon deflated. I am struggling to think of a worse performance and I'm a season ticket holder. People keep saying Watford away last season but at least that wasn't at home. Obviously the 6-0 to Newcastle under JFH was pretty bad. Highlight of the day for me was Ashby signing autographs as he made his way round the pitch after being subbed like he was Pele in 1958. |
