As an coach of U8 and U10 kids, I wouldn't even address heading the ball if were allowed here in the States. I teach them no to worry about heading the ball because we want to keep it on the ground. Be technical... |

Yeah, Chelsea is good. It pains me to say that. They know their system and play their game no matter what. Nothing ruffles their feathers. |

Second on "Inverting the Pyramid." "Soccernomics" by Simon Kuper and Stefan Szymanski https://g.co/kgs/4nawYe "Brilliant Orange: The Neurotic Genius of Dutch Football" by David Winner. https://g.co/kgs/TVdl0X I'm in the middle of "My Turn: A Life of Total Football" by Johan Cruyff. It's his perspective mind you, but one of those books that you read over the course of a few weeks. Interesting fellow. |

No worries. The website is a great one. Their tactical analyses are excellent as well. Lots of good stuff there if you dig around. |
| Forum Reply | Klopp on Clements impact at Swansea at 14:15 20 Jan 2017
Other than the press conferences, I've seen no impact in style of play or attitude of players due to Clement's presence which is indicative of a team culture issue. I like Klopp, but he should have kept his opinion to himself. I guess he was trying to be supportive?? |

So, as a coach of youngsters, I would ask myself what I could do to get that feeling back to the development side of things. The feeling that came with having to duck under the fence. The feeling of meeting my friends for a training session with a coach who teaches and instills a sense of comaradari and purpose. You can sink millions into something but if the mindset is misguided you get squat in the end. |

Funding should not affect culture. The culture of winning begins with the U10's. Swansea has the history and THE culture to produce kids who want to win but the delivery of the culture and the winning begins with those U10 coaches. Properly motivated and passionate leadership can instill a winning mindset that those kids will carry for the rest of their lives, whether they become pro-footballers or not. Properly led, the youth academy at Swansea could make for a stable future. |

No BS here. Just dropping some friendly words. Not claiming to be anything but Jason, who is a football fan and admire the culture Swansea has. Sorry about the Gooner today. |
