Absolutely!
The Chagos islands thing is a good example. Trump indicated that he’ll go along with the deal which would be affirming for Starmer and infuriating for the Tories, Reform and the right leaning press.
Of course what he says and what he does do not always tally. |

While it’s reasonable to question the length of these sentences I don’t think it can be called two tier.
If there’s evidence of the same crime, in the same contest, committed by people with the same behavioural backgrounds having different sentences because of who the are then that would be two tier. It would also be two tier if sentencing guidelines were ignored. I’ve not seen any of that.
Otherwise it’s just feeling that sentences don’t always fit the crimes |

The devil will be in the detail but looks like a pretty big success.
There’s clearly been some serious preparation time given to it.
There seems to be a helpful space for us between the EU and the US.

The rise of Reform has seen the Conservatives question for a while now who they are and what are they for, and it seems that it’s Labour’s turn now to do the same.
It might take some time as although there’s a lot of Blue Labour that’s appealing, I think it’s hard for them to find traction when there’s not money to spend. |

As I said, I’ve no issue with Reeves the incompetent/useless etc., it’s the latent sexism I don’t like.
Edit: I’ve thought of one. The Grocer’s Daughter for Thatcher. Not sexist but snobbery. The same in that it puts an unnecessary barrier up.

As I posted earlier in the thread, it’s basically calling her a trumped up secretary, taking a traditionally women’s job and belittling it.
So far a few have tried to give examples of nicknames for men as comparable, but I’ve yet to see one that is. |
