You really must be very naive to think that Labour politicians are different to the other lot |

Such sad news. Often chatted with him in the boozers of the Uplands over the years. RIP |

Our player of the year & a good shot stopper. Young, with still a lot to learn & was prone to more than the odd error over the course of the season. Difficult to understand Brighton’s thinking on this one. On the plus side for us his value will drop so may be an opportunity for us down the line. Happy with what I’ve see from Vig so far |

Well many of us have seen a pattern of play developing under LW and it’s exactly the same as it was under Russell Martin at its worse. Slow turgid football - possession for possession sake, passing around the defenders deep in our own half, playing players out of position, lack of creativity, lack of urgency, lack of through balls, failure to use pace, failure to recognise that time in opposition half & passes into dangerous areas create goalscoring opportunities, failure to get many shots away, failure to get shots on target. There is definitely a clear pattern to our play & it needs a radical change. That is the job of the coach no matter how thin the squad is on quality or quantity |

Nice one. Googled it - job done for now. Has Virgin actually changed the settings then for some reason ? For some reason my streams only started playing up today … hopefully this will fix it |

It seems as if we are saying the same thing in different ways except my glass is more than a little half empty. I want to see some passion, leadership & direction from the players, coach & most importantly the ownership. Until I see at least a glimmer of that it’s gonna take more than a well deserved 1-0 defeat to lift the doom & gloom. I would settle for mid table Championship right now. I fear our decline will continue & get even more uncomfortable unless something seriously positive happens before the end of the transfer window |

Has he identified the issues though ? He is right in that we need more players in (stating the bleeding obvious) but: - Why does he continue to play Grimes & Fulton together ? - Why does he think Cullen is a starter good enough for the Championship ? - Why does he persist in letting Grimes drop so deep ? - Why is he picking players out of position ? He has clearly been let down by the rate of recruitment by the club. The new signings must be asking themselves what have they let themselves in for. I see his lack of passion uninspiring not refreshing |

Yes mate, I remember that day in Oldham too, the football was easy on the eye & gave us something to look forward to. Wouldn’t it be great to see something to give us that hope & optimism tomorrow. I have primed myself to expect the worse and hope for the best. Have a good trip & enjoy if that is possible (never found the smoggies to be the most welcoming lot) |

We sold out our 3200 allocation for Charlton away. There was confidence & optimism in abundance in the fan base at the time. Most felt the same coming away from there after a 2-0 defeat. Confidence & optimism is pretty low with most fans at the moment & we will take less than half that number on Saturday. I’d take a draw right now |

It was as bizarre a decision at the time as it seems now not to proceed with O’Riley even with hindsight. Especially when he must have sanctioned £400k for Fisher when we didn’t even need a keeper at the time as we had Hamer & Benda on the books |

Fish n chips & Whitby can’t be faulted. But Middlesbrough, been there twice, worked with many of them, possibly the roughest, toughest place in the country …. ? |

Not sure if this is disrespecting the tournament. Bad losers (aren’t we all ?), it is petulance at its absolute worst, setting a poor example to kids too. This type of display by English football & rugby players has become all too common, losers. |
