I have watch all sorts of sports in my many years and I can honestly say that I have never seen a team so incredibly unlucky as our R's. Normally you get the rub of the green every now and then, 50/50 chances drop in your favor. The goalie makes an error, but know. It would be funny if it wasn't so annoying.
This indeed. My 68 year old self does have a little guffaw when I see all corner takers now moving the ball out to 'overhang' the corner area border line. Maybe I'm being naïve but does the extra 4 or 5 inches change anything? Improves the angle? Gets the ball further away from the corner flag? Or as with most things in life an extra 4 or 5 inches makes a big difference. I get the impression that it is done because it's the 'thing to do' now.
